Today, I’m going to talk about how to protect your energy. This may seem a little bit far out, but it is definitely one tool that’s going to help you feel a little bit more self-contained – you can keep that energy in, and feel a bit brighter and happier at all times.
So, you’re like, “Protect your what?” Well, each and every one of is an energy being. We have loads and loads of energy.
Sometimes, we go into certain buildings and feel completely depleted when we leave, or we’re around certain people having different conversations, and the energy can just be sucked out of us.
What we can do is protect our energy, and make ourselves feel a lot more aligned and in harmony. We can be in our happy mode from the moment we wake up, and keep that constant state as we move through our day.
My tip is: when you wake up in the morning, you close your eyes, and state your intention for how you want to start your day: how you want to feel, and what your day is going to look like.
You can wake up in the morning in a state of total gratitude – for being able to wake up, being alive, breathing, and for your body. Once you’re in that space of nice gratitude, keep your eyes closed and just imagine a beautiful white light filling up your entire body, down to your toes, down to your fingertips.
You’re just full of this clear, beautiful light energy, and feeling this sense of peace, and deciding what you want to breathe into that body for the rest of the day.
What do you need to make you feel energised, motivated, productive, happy, joyful, creative, or any other positive energy that you’d like to feel in abundance? Breathe it all in – all those words that you want to flow into your day.
As you breathe them in, you may want to breathe a colour with it. We’re allowing that colour to flow into your entire body, feeling it expand with these really beautiful, positive energies, and positive intentions.
Once you’re finished calling in whatever energies and resources that you need for the day, I would invite you then to imagine a bubble of light around you. Yes, like an egg.
You’re calling up a bubble of light to surround you and to protect you.
It’s an invisible bubble of light, but I like to see it as a little egg. You’re inside your own personal little egg, and it is strong. People can’t knock into it and they can’t break it and they can’t crack it. This is your own personal little egg of protection.
On the outside of this egg, I would like you to imagine mirrors.
When you wake up in the morning, you’re in this beautiful resourceful state. You have these gorgeous energies you’ve called in, that you need to use for your day, and you’ve surrounded yourself in a bubble of beautiful light, or eggshell, or whatever it is – it’s just energetically there.
Now, on the outside, you’ve put reflective mirrors on it. As you get out of your bed and go about your business, whatever you do or wherever you go, anything or anyone that you interact with will still have the same interactions with you, but energetically you will be holding onto that space inside of you of – and those beautiful resourceful states that you called in.
Their energy will just reflect off you, and you won’t absorb it as much as you may have done in the past.
This is a really important practice for when you’re going to places like the airport or the hospital, places that create negative or a stressful situations, because you want to keep your resourceful state, and keep yourself in a happier, more balanced place.
You can go about your day, do whatever you need to do, fulfil your career, and make sure that you’re doing your best with the help of those beautiful energies that you called in first thing in the morning.
Now, sometimes you may interact with people who may disturb that energy. But all you have to do is imagine the resourceful energies that you called up in the morning.
See your egg around you, the mirrors reflecting off it, and allow that disturbance to just bounce off you.

When you come home, you can feel as if you haven’t necessarily had all the energy sucked out of you.
You’re still in the space of beautiful, harmonious balance that you were in when you woke up in the morning, and called in all the energies that you wanted to connect with for the day.
