Feng Shui Habits To Embrace in Your Life

The great Feng Shui habits to embrace in your life. Yes, there are countless things that you can do to Feng Shui your home and I’ve written a book about it but I want to give you some quick things that you can keep in the back of your mind every single day that is going to support you in creating a home that is absolutely aligned with what it is that you want to call in and continuously supporting you with your dreams and your ambitions.

Buy What You Love

The first thing I would say to you is only buy what you love. This is so important in your home, it is your sacred space and you get to decide what comes in and who comes in. I would really, really, really, really recommend you getting clear and intentional about what you bring into your space. Does it make you feel good? Is it aligned with your dreams and goals? And is it going to improve the energy of your environment? By keeping that in your mind when you are shopping or buying new things for your house it’s going to really help the energy of your home rise up.

Let Go Of Something Out Of Your House

The second thing I would say to you before you go buy anything, let go of something out of your house. Your home, as I said, is a sanctuary. It is a space that we want to be really supportive of but when it has too much stuff it becomes overwhelming and energy can get stuck and stagnant and this is a big no no when it comes to Feng Shui. So if you are going to invite new things into your house, it’s time to let go of some other things.

So if you’re into books, reading, and you love books, well maybe every time you make a commitment, every time you get a new book, you’re going to let go of one to replace it with another. So you’re creating this sense of flow and energy moving through your home on a regular basis.

Keep An Eye On Different Things

The next thing I would recommend in your house is to keep an eye on different things as you move around your house. Make sure everything is working, if things are not working they are literally depleting the energy of that part of your home. So have a little move around and if it’s not moving, if it’s not working, If it’s broken, if it’s chipped. It is literally depleting your energy. Every single time something’s not working, either make the commitment to get it fixed, or let it go and then you can make space for something brand new into your house.

Keep Toilet Seat Down

Now the final one is a super fun, easy one, that some people may have more difficulty doing than others, but it’s keeping that toilet seat down. For me, it’s also hygienically a good one to keep the toilet seat down. But I would also make sure to keep the toilet seat down so all that money that’s flowing in the front door is not flowing out the toilet and down the loo. So keep that toilet seat down and ideally the bathroom door closed. If you do have pets and they like going in and out of the bathroom and that’s where you know, we have to have flexibility in our lives, even having a tiny bit ajar is okay.

I have an incredible guide for you that is a checklist that’s going to show you room by room. What exactly you can be doing to improve the flow of energy and activate Feng Shui in your home. You can grab that guide at patricialohan.com/checklist and that will move you through every single room to Feng Shui your space and get that flow of all the things that you want coming into your life easily.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these tips in creating good habits around your house and it really is from a Feng Shui perspective around making sure your space is full of flow, enjoyable, and mindful of what’s in it, what’s working, and that you don’t allow yourself to hold on to things that can be depleting your energy in any area of your home.
